Musachan: The Heartbreaker

Holy crap this seriously took me probably 20 hours AND NOT COUNTING BREAKS.

Oh yeh and Mu I lied I resized it just a 100 pixels less because before it would've made everyone's monitors explode even more. ;_;

ANYWAYS THIS IS FOR IT'S FOR HER CONTEST "The Target" but I've been wanting to draw her something ANYWAYS because:

a) She drew me an awesome Kip picture
b) She drew it to "Black Cadillacs" by Modest Mouse
c) Which is now one of Kip's theme songs
d) Which is now one of my top 5 fav. songs ever
e) Musachan is extremely rocking and nice to everyone (well except people she doesn't like)
f) SHE DESERVES IT

SO YEH ANYWAY.

For her contest she said you could draw Anthro Mu, which she had no ref. for, so she told me omfg black cat thing with orange markings. But obviously I TOTALLY SCREWED WITH THAT.

Changes I made - I added "Musachan" in Katakana to her pants, I made the fire thing on her pants a face thing, I added the Katana for "Mu" on her headband, I totally made her NOT LOOK LIKE A CAT, I added purple stripes, added a collar, I COMBINED LIKE her human form and Harvester form, in general I just screwed up everything.

And I combined her goggles and glasses into.. GLAGGLES. ...or something. GOGGLES + GLASSES = GLAGGLES.

And I made her eyecolour very evil-ish.

AND UMM MORE STUFF I forgot now. ;_;



Okay man I gotta give out a LOT of credit to the Gatobob-Spotty! If she didn't exist or if I didn't know her this picture wouldn't be HERE TODAY.

I stole like every technique of her's:

1.) Her "no-lineart-no-hassle" style which involves making shapes with the pen tool. I did that for the base of the colours.
2.) It was one of her tutorials that not only taught me how to use the pen tool, but how to make different layers, and use that transparency... thing.
3.) I used the polygonal lasso tool for some of the line-art and the straight-line tool. MAJOUR polygonal lasso tool on BG.
4.) I kind of shaded the fabric like she does.

SO IN HER AMAZING HONOUR (it is quite amazing) I made Musa's collar ACID GREEN and also the thing on her pants is acid green but that was sooo not intentional.

SO ANYWAYS, FOLKS. I GIVE YOU ANTHRO MUSACHAN!!!

Oh yeh and I used pattern thingies (with I manipulated to actually go on the hoodie and pants) from [link]

OH YEH MAN and also I think this is one of the best things I've ever done XD I POURED MY HEART, MY SOUL, MY MIND, MY INSPIRATION, MY CREATIVITY -- My... well I POURED A LOT OF WORK INTO THIS ;_;

THIS IMAGE JUST tested how great my capabilities could be if I APPLIED MYSELF. I PUSHED MYSELF to the brink, to the LIMIT OF MY POWER

...and I have decided the limit caused a lot of pain towards my mental health and physical well being so you know what I'll stick with my average capability drawing things. ;_;

EDIT: On the Katakana on her pants, see, I was so ...tired I wasn't thinking and like rotated the whole pic around so I could write the Katakana from LEFT TO RIGHT I HAVE NO IDEA WHY and plus I can't write Katakana worth a shit and was following this chart because I IS TEH LAME but anyways I flipped it back around which I found out is even MORE CONFUSION so "Musamoyan" or "Musachan" either way whichever YOU PREFER. XD But yeh Gato pointed this out to me and I was totally flabberghasted because I followed a chart then looked at it and realized how confusing I just made it by doing that rotate-ey shit XD JUST PLEASE EXCUSE MY RANDOM STUPIDITY I KNOW JAPANESE PEOPLE DON'T WRITE LEFT TO RIGHT and plz don't think I'm some anime-Japanese-wannabe XD
